Urgoplastic - Discreet dressing fixation - Urgo

This micro-perforated adhesive tape is indicated for dressing fragile skin and for fixing probes and catheters without visual break, ensuring perfect monitoring.

Urgoplastic allows the wound and skin to breathe. Hypoallergenic, it is suitable for sensitive skin and easy to use.

It can be cut without scissors!

Instructions for use:

Apply to skin that has been cleansed, disinfected with an antiseptic, then rinsed with saline solution and dried.

The adhesive tape is easily tearable to adapt the length of the tape to the intended use.

Remove gently and repeat on average every 24 hours, or as prescribed.

Precaution for use:

Keep out of reach of children.

Designed to adhere to healthy skin.

The simultaneous presence of oily products or hair, use on moist areas, or on joint areas, can impair adhesion and lead to the loss of the secured medical device and a delay in healing (infection, multiple dressing changes, etc.).

When applying, do not create tension on the skin or the adhesive tape (risk of irritation, tourniquet effect).

To maintain optimal healing conditions, replace the adhesive bandage if it becomes wet or loses its stickiness.

The maintenance of medical equipment must have been explained by a healthcare professional.

Do not sterilize.

Contraindications:

Not suitable for fixing/holding wet equipment or probes (hematology, resuscitation, incubators).

Side effects:

This adhesive bandage can cause skin reactions such as redness, irritation, dermatitis or pain upon removal, particularly on dry or damaged skin.

In case of local reaction or itching, stop using the product and consult your healthcare professional.

Contains rosin derivatives which may cause skin allergy.

To minimize any risk of infection or skin reactions:

- Follow the instructions for use carefully. Do not reuse a used adhesive bandage.
- Do not apply the adhesive tape directly to damaged skin, eyes, or mucous membranes (risk of irritation, inflammation, pain).
- Do not use after the expiry date. Do not use a damaged product.

Any serious incident related to this product must be reported to URGO HEALTHCARE Laboratories and the National Health Agency.
